This blog began life about a life (mine) working in further education colleges. It's developed into the daily shenanigans and goings on in schools, colleges and universities across the land. Not only do we take a pop at anyone and anything, we particularly take a dislike to the pompous, law-giving Government ministers if we think they are having a laugh at the public's expense, which they most often are.
Our intrepid reporters daily scour all the issues that affect people. It's a moaning shop, a meeting place and whatever else it develops into. I started this blog in August 2005 had have had some pretty good feedback from people over the past year. Following work by a their top research team, NASA will announce this morning that they have found evidence of life on the Moon and are preparing a mission to land there by 2020.
President George W Bush - will reveal all to an expectant nation tonight at 20.00 hours and will prepare a message to be broadcast to our new neighbours on Christmas day.
The Presidents speech is expected to say, (are you sure about this Billy...Ed?)
"My Fellow Earthlings, in recent days, our top scientists have found evidence of alien life on the Moon in the area known as New New York. We have picked up signals from the aliens which our scientists are analysing and translating. Here are some of those signals now...

We don't know yet if their intentions are friendly or not, so we are sending Bruce Willis and an advance 'team' from the 101st Airbourne Division along to investigate and see if they have any weapons of mass destruction. We come in peace, shoot to kill and all that stuff...."
Moonbases by 2020 eh? I wonder what a house might cost or if there will be a Tesco or Sainsbury's?
I bet the Americans are planning what the Moon Mall will have like a MacMoon-Donalds, BurgerKing, Craters'R'Us, and all the other shite they flog across the world. The Church of Scientology and Tom Cruise have already signed up along with Coca Cola, Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream and Nike. You can bet old beardy Branson and his Virgin bandwagon won't be far behind.
